What You Can Settle Here
Three situations where this page is the right one. If none of them describe you, the booking form is the better starting point.
A booking
At least 100 percent of the rental, due on the day you book, with the balance settled at handover.
An extension
Extra days added to a rental you already have, once we have confirmed the cart is free.
How Your Card Details Are Handled
This is worth explaining plainly, because plenty of small rental sites get it wrong. This page never asks for a card number, an expiry date or a security code. Those fields do not exist here and the server would reject them if they did.
What we collect is the amount, the name on the reservation, an email for the receipt and the billing address that needs to match your card. That is sent over an encrypted connection and stored so we can match your payment to your booking.
The card itself is entered on the payment provider's own checkout page. They are the ones certified to handle card data, and the transaction happens on their systems, not ours.
What We Store, and What We Do Not
Stored
Your reference, the amount, the tax, the total, your name, email, phone and billing address, and the provider's transaction id.
Never stored
Card number, expiry date, security code. None of it is requested, transmitted through this site, or written to our database.
The arithmetic
How the Total Is Worked Out
Nothing is hidden and nothing is calculated in the browser. The tax is applied on our server when the payment is created.

Terms
Payment and Cancellation Terms
The full terms in plain language rather than a wall of legal text nobody reads before clicking pay.
Cancellations. No refund is given for no shows or for unused rental time.
Tax. Rental prices are subject to 12.5 percent tax.
Changes. Dates can usually be moved before the rental starts, subject to a cart being free. Contact us as early as you can.
Damage. Damage caused during a rental is chargeable, assessed against the condition agreed at handover.
Currency. All amounts are charged in USD. Your bank may apply its own conversion or foreign transaction fee.
If the Payment Will Not Go Through
Cards issued outside Belize are sometimes blocked on a first attempt at a foreign merchant. It is almost always the bank being cautious rather than anything wrong with the payment.

Have Not Booked a Cart Yet?
This page is for settling a reservation we have already confirmed with you. If you have not booked yet, start with the booking form instead. We check availability, send you the exact total including tax, and only then is there anything to pay.

Rental prices are subject to 12.5 percent tax. Showing it as a separate line is clearer than folding it into the headline rate.

A receipt is emailed to the address you enter here as soon as the payment clears. Keep it, since it is also your proof of the reservation.
No refund is given for no shows or for unused rental time. If plans change before the rental starts, contact us and we will move the dates where we can.

Other Ways to Settle a Rental
Paying online is never compulsory. Three alternatives, all of them normal here.
In person at handover
Cards are taken at the office and at handover, so paying online is never compulsory. Plenty of guests settle when they collect the cart.
Over the phone
Call the office line on +501 226-4422 during island hours and a member of the team will take the payment with you.
Cash on the island
US and Belize dollars are both accepted at the office. Bring the exact amount where you can, since change in US dollars is not always to hand.
